Hi Gary and Linda:
So many things to say, hope I don’t miss anything.
Thinking back … I remember searching online for mini-golden doodle breeders. I was very skeptical with online searching because you never know what you may find. Your original website was very welcoming, with lot of necessary information. I took a chance, and reached out to you. It was one the best decision I ever made.
First of all, you were 100% correct on our phone interview when you said that a puppy from Dream About Farms would be the best dog, pet and family member that I would ever have. Our wait was long, and my son was anxious for a new puppy. You took the time to make a special Christmas video for my son, as surprise, to let him know that soon he would have a new puppy and best friend to grow up with. We named our new addition Barkly during our waiting time. Gary drove all the way to Massachusetts to personally deliver our new puppy. Barkly knew his name on gotcha day and our journey began there and what a wonderful journey it has been.
Seven years of unconditional love, loyalty, obedience and companionship. Barkly is a wonderful pet and family member. He became a classmate and co-worker during COVID. I am still able to work remotely and he knows when it is time to go to work in the home office. Many days he is also a comfort pet and just give hugs. I am sure all of the love and kisses Gary gave to him before he was ours, gave a great start to a loving fur baby.
I would highly recommend Dream About Farm to anyone considering a new best friend! I will soon be adding myself back to the wait list, because I would never get a dog from anyone else!
Best,
Nicole & Logan
Hi Garry,
It's hard to believe that Pacey will be TWO soon so I thought I would send an update. Pacey as a young puppy had so much energy - he never would rest or sleep unless you put him in his crate; he just always wanted to play, play, play! He loves people so much. We are still working on him jumping on guests (he seriously can jump as high as their heads!) and since jumping is one of his favorite things to do, we will be enrolling in agility classes this spring or summer. While he does still have plenty of energy, he does cuddle and rest with me a lot now.
He has graduated from puppy kindergarten, level one obedience, and level two obedience and did very well. I actually enjoyed the classes so much that I am in the process of now becoming a certified dog trainer myself.
Last summer, we fostered a couple different dogs and Pacey did very well with them. One was a senior dog who was not very interested in playing and Pacey totally left her alone and respected her. Then we fostered a 3 month old puppy who Pacey got to play with and she was adopted by my cousin so they're able to still be friends. Pacey definitely prefers to be a big fish in a small pond because he is usually scared of big dogs but has fun when HE is the biggest.
In October, we decided to adopt a yorkie mix named Penny so now Pacey has a permanent playmate. They get along great and are so funny together.
Hi Garry,
Erik and I are still talking things over regarding a new puppy, because we want to be very certain before committing.
In the meantime I wanted to send you a testimonial and I found this email i had sent you when Doug was still very young. Look what a cute puppy he was!
My thoughts on it now…
Doug from Dream About Farm is the best dog we could have imagined. He’s an F1 mini golden doodle. He’s incredibly sweet and playful, great with babies and children, hypoallergenic, and a very loyal companion. He’s just the best dog.
Hey Garry

Erik and I just wanted to reach out and tell you how awesome Doug is. He's the cutest, sweetest, smartest, and most relaxed puppy we ever could have imagined joining our family. THANK YOU! You clearly put in a ton of work to socialize and potty train him early on and it shows.
It is hard to believe that we have had Miss Millie for 10 years now (and Ellie for 9) . After all these years she is a perpetual puppy -- just as energetic and playful as she was 10 years ago. The "Girls" have added immeasurably to our lives and we consider them pretty much God's perfect creatures. They are loving, very intelligent, and well behaved in pretty much any situation. They have never destroyed anything other than their tug-of-war toys. They were housebroken almost immediately and have never had an accident in the house. They bark very little but let us know if there is anything or anybody they do not know in or near the house. They will eat only what is offered to them. They travel well and adapt to whatever place we are in. What more could you want as your constant companions.
Hello Garry!
Here is my testimonial for you—
I got my dog, Andy, from Garry 4 years ago. In those 4 years, Andy has held a number of roles: perfect baby puppy, king snuggler, travel buddy, and best friend. At 22 years old, I took home a 2lb little ball of fluff who saw me through a number of challenging years. Since then, he’s converted his Dad from a working-dog only farmer to a man who’s absolutely obsessed with our 25lb fur baby.
Andy has been a dream since the beginning. He was sleeping through the night after 3 days, was potty trained before he even came home (and has only had maybe 5 accidents in his whole life), could rock Boston public transportation better than any tourist, and can be attentive & safe off leash in any environment. He’s just as happy on a 7 mile hike as he is strapped into a backpack on a long bike ride, even happier to be snuggled up next to you on the couch. He’s never met a stranger, and everyone that knows him says he’s a special dog.
I’ve referred a number of people to Garry and Linda from Dream About Farm, and nobody has been anything less than ecstatic about the puppy they brought home. At 4 years old, we think Andy is ready for a puppy friend of his own… and we cannot wait to work with Dream About Farm for our second fur baby. We’d never get a dog anywhere else!
We adore our mini-poodle Scout and couldn’t be happier about all of our interactions with Dream About Farm! Garry is caring and so easy to engage with and his mini-poodles are wonderful! Our mini-poodle Scout is smart and sweet. Scout loves his family and always wants to be part of whatever is going on. He love walks, loves to play and loves meeting other dogs. He has a personality all is own and we couldn’t be happier to have him as a part of our family!
April 2020 at the start of COVID I had to put my mini poodle down. I said to my daughter no more dogs, but after a couple months it was time.
I called my veterinarian and she highly recommended Dream About Farms. I called Garry Carlson and after a very lengthy conversation, I knew I had the right breeder. My only concern was getting a puppy from North Carolina to Boston. Garry explained to me that he never puts them on planes he drives the puppies to their forever home.
Remy was born in August 2020 and Garry sent us numerous videos of the litter and all the puppies were called by their names. We saw in the videos how much love Garry & his family gave to those puppies. Remy came to home 95% housebroken and knowing her name. I’ve had several dogs over the years and Remy is the smartest and just one of the sweetest & happiest dogs. Her brother Murray is in Boston so we get see him often too.
We consider ourselves very lucky to come in to have met Garry!!!
Hi Gary!
I bought a beautiful puppy from you about 7 years ago, Ace! He is doing amazing and is a great dog. I have a friend who is looking for a golden retriever puppy and I didn’t know if you knew of anyone in the Boston area who breeds them or had anyone you trusted or could recommend! Thank you in advance for your help!
Warm Regards,
Danielle and Ace
Dear Garry,
This is a picture of Rosie’s 3rd birthday party, hosted by Brooklyn. Rosie sat at the table like a very polite little girl.
She provides us with endless joy… She is a super cuddly girl. She has been a godsend to Brooklyn. We just love her to pieces. Thank you, for her.
Warmly,
Maria Glaser
Hi Gary
Haven’t sent a picture of Tetley in a long time. He is just wonderful and smart as a whip. We name all of his toys and he can get everyone of his toys by name. The balls he plays with are different colors if we say go get your red ball etc he brings it. So much for the theory that dogs can’t see colors. Can’t imagine life without him. He is wonderful with all people, kids and other animals. You may get a call from my brother-in-law Tom Brockett about a doodle. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Laurie waited for 2 litters to get her favorite color: light golden/tan
Hi Garry & Linda,
I don’t know if you’re back home yet but you TRULY do wonderful things with your dogs. Darla/Annie has changed our home life already! She is a gem! She is sooooooo smart...playful…loving and adorable. She’s a quick learner. As of today (11 days). NO accidents. Goes outside easily (from the beginning I might add.)
She is crate trained for night. She squealed a little (10 min) for the first couple of nights. She quickly adjusted to her new home and actually goes in at night on her own…..her bedtime. Seems to be around 10:00pm. Now, I wake her once a night to go pee…she sleeps soundly through the night. I’ve already given her a bath…she did very well. SHE IS A JOY! ...and brings much joy to our whole family from my 92 year old mother to me 19 year old son.
THANK YOU GARRY !!!
God Bless you and keep spreading the joy!
Laurie
Dear Garry,
I’ve written this recommendation of your work to share with other LinkedIn users.
Details of the Recommendation: “I chose Dream About Farm as the place to find my puppy after a year of extensive research on the breed, and almost three years later, not a day goes by when I do not think about how my dog is one of the best things in my life. Not only did the adorable puppy grow up to be a gorgeous and happy dog, but he is thoughtful, friendly and always ready for fun. I also liked the fact that DAF’s pups must be picked up in person; I was able to meet the whole family (human and canine), and since I was taking one of their beloved puppies home with me, it was right that they should meet me as well. If you are looking to add a four-pawed friend into your family, Dream About Farm is definitely the way to go!"

Editor’s note – Nan & Kami have referred no less than 5 people to us - so far! I believe he will be the first male to graduate from Wellesley College, with a Bachelor of Barks!
Subject: It’s been one year with Kami
Hi. I wanted to thank you as we approach the one year anniversary of having Kami in my life. What a joy – what a constant mood elevator, so smart, sweet, athletic and a great learner. He has brought so much joy to my life. I hope we can have a reunion some time.I love meeting his siblings and it seems there will be 2 more in my neighborhood by November.
I’m signing up in 15 years for another one too! (or sooner???) If I could ever manage a 2nd dog...better wait until I retire. Thanks again take care – Nan
p.s. When people asked what I did last summer when the ranch was closed I said - Looked for a new dog! That was my mission all summer and then what happens?? Irene and Dave tell me to call Linda & Garry - I call them and then my good friend Laura joins me and such joy enters my life and everyone who meets Kami - They all love him. I can’t believe it was that easy!
